Investigations

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Princess Anne Police Department is responsible for the investigation of all major cases. All felony cases are reviewed by the investigators and if requested they will respond to the scene. Members of the unit have numerous years of investigative experience and have been trained extensively in crime scene photography, evidence collection, fingerprint identification and recovery. Investigators also have extensive training in the field of witness and suspect interviews.

 
   
Members of the Unit are also responsible for the submitting and track of evidence that is recovered. In cases where further examinations are required, the Unit members prepare and transport this evidence to various other law enforcement agencies throughout the state who will assist in our investigation.
